Paladin Mentorship

 The Paladins; Their skill in battle could be matched. Most mages can defeat one in the arena of arcane arts as well. Then what makes them strong? Their sense of true justice. They served as peace keepers for many decades, soldiers fighting evil-doers, and healers saving the lives of many. They were easily recognized by their gold coated armors and special weapons that also served as scepters. Only a few however, could easily be noticed by their Wise Beast companions.

 Wise beasts have roamed the earth longer than history could record. Nobody truly knows their origin. Many magicians hesitate to carry out the experiments, not only they are almost as rare as an azure phoenix, but it is also very difficult to communicate and convince a wise beast to be a test subject.

  An interesting exception has emerged recently, and the first ever to refuse carrying a weapon was accepted in to becoming a paladin. Formerly known as Eaurath the bard, he was discovered during an investigation regarding rumors of a blue maned boar with gloving eyes -a fitting description of a Wise Beast. Amelia, The paladin carrying out the investigation, discovered that Eurath had met the boar in his youth and has been secretly friends with it ever since. Amelia truly admired seeing not only that a Wise Beast had contacted a mere human being, but also that Eurath had been guarding the wise beast with his life. It was only fitting for Eurath to become a paladin. However Eurath hesitated. He had dedicated his life to spreading happiness with his music, not war. He refused to ever lay his hands on a weapon. "A pure heart, dedicated to protecting others, that should be the true definition of a Paladin" Amelia said. "Who said justice could only be passed on true violent ways? Eurath the bard, i hereby name you; Eurath the Shield Bearer!" . Eurath was convinced and accepted Amelia as his mentor once he was told he never had to hurt anyone, but instead bear a magical shield and defend those in need.

 When my computer died, i realized i had a lot of PS3 games that i have never played or never finished. I was hoping on getting to some of them in the following 3 weeks before it my PC return from technical support. However, i ended up spending the entire time playing nothing but Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. Once i decided to stop being a thief, i went on a journey to redeem myself. Armed with my glass axe that absorbs magica and healing powers, for the first time ever in Skyrim i had a proper battle plan; Hit twice to gain mana, heal to restore stamina, hit again to gain mana, repeat. It was truly entertaining, wearing a glass armor with a golden hood of restoration,  I found myself screaming "I shall bring JUSTICE!" as i charged into battle. It was a truly immersive and amazing experience. So that's where the inspiration comes from .

 I feel so rusty. Haven't been drawing with my tablet longer than a month now, wanted to practice a bit. Those trees still look very weird to me, and i got rather confused while trying to draw the light reflections and etc.
